Parts were ancient administrative divisions of Lincolnshire; these units are recorded as intermediate between the county and wapentake. There were three Parts in Lincolnshire: Kesteven, Holland and Lindsey. The Parts of Lindsey dates back to the seventh century, whilst Kesteven and Holland were later additions during the tenth or eleventh centuries. Their functions were administrative and judicial.
